In addition to its permanent attractions, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk also hosts hundreds of events throughout the year, including oceanfront ice skating and a nationally known country music festival.
This Myrtle Beach Boardwalk calendar of events lists the South Carolina attraction’s top activities, concerts, and happenings by season.

July 4: Salute From the Shore

The annual flyover includes F16s from Shaw Air Force Base, along with privately owned vintage planes such as T-34s, T-6s, and T-28s. Watch from anywhere along the Boardwalk and other surrounding beaches. Costumes and festive red, white, and blue attire are highly encouraged. Salute the flyover with family and friends, and be sure to take a photo and share it on the event website. This is a great activity to show your support and your patriotic pride!
